Vladimir Monroe
Supplier Diversity Specialist
Prior to joining Ameren, Vladimir Monroe served as Director of Minority Business Development & Compliance at St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC). Vladimir joined SLDC in 2015 as the Contract Compliance Manager. During his tenure at SLDC, Vladimir was responsible for managing the SLDC Compliance Program to increase participation of Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) in city-funded projects per the Mayor’s Executive Order 28.
Vladimir also assisted with the development and compliance evaluation of City of St. Louis Ordinance #70767; crafted strategies on diversity, equity, and inclusion goals to implement across the various City of St. Louis agencies and departments; and managed the execution of all M/WBE executive orders and ordinances related procedures, policies, and strategies.
Vladimir is a veteran of the United States Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Edward Waters University.
Vladimir is responsible for leading supplier diversity initiatives for Ameren Missouri Power Generation and Customer Operations.
